I'm baaaaccckkkkk!For the most part things in my life are finally piecing together and I'm able to get on with my life rather than struggle like I used to.. everyday...
So why am I feeling so good? Well on April 2nd it was mine and my girlfriend's anniverrsarry
Yep, the big 1 year, and also my brother's birthday (he's like 30 now I think).I've been studying 3D so much with Maya 4.5, downloading whatever tutorials I could, and even cracked open my Maya 4 Fundamentals book and have started modeling a head.
Before starting the head I successfully modelled a hand and a hammer, I know it's not much but hey, everyone has to start somewhere right?School has been pretty stressful lately, in C++ I had to turn in a career portfolio so last night was spent fixing what I hadn't finished in class, *sigh*. My teacher was very impressed with my work though so that definately made me feel really good.
Prom is coming up! May 2nd, going to buu tickets tomorrow, will post pics after prom.
Oh that reminds me.. My Dad has officially given me the Olympus camera to keep which is really cool (whooooo! more photography for me).More news.. um, I will be getting my license soon, thank god.. it's about time. Oh and best of all... Summer Break is coming up soon, one more year of highschool and I am gettin the hell out of here, and hopefully off to Ai (Illinois Art Institute - Schaumburg, Illinois). Sadly I could not graduate with my original class (class of 2003) I messed up bad during my freshmen and sophomore years. However, I am improving and even made High Honors on my grades
So yeah that's about it, I don't know if anyone actually reads this or not but it's nice to get everything out on here.
Hopefully now that things have gotten better I will be able to spend more time with Maya and the DevArt community along with a few others I joined to get more feedback on my work.
